Pet-Friendly,Oceanfront Escape with Multi-Level Decks

Salty Shore

Lose track of time at The Salty Shore, an oceanfront home in Rockaway Beach with unobstructed Pacific views from both levels. Pull up a chair, pour something you love, and let the rhythm of the waves set the pace. From glowing summer sunsets to dramatic winter storm watching, this is a true front-row ocean experience - beautiful in every season and unforgettable long after you leave.

Inside, the home is bright, airy, and thoughtfully designed to showcase the view. Large picture windows flood both levels with natural light, while tasteful coastal décor and comfortable furnishings create an inviting, relaxed atmosphere. With two full levels, there’s space for everyone to gather and room to spread out - making it ideal for families, multi-generational stays, and trips with friends. Whether it’s board games, movie nights, or quiet reading with the ocean as your backdrop, every moment feels intentional and easy.

Step outside onto expansive upper and lower decks where mornings begin with coffee, afternoons drift into happy hour, and evenings are spent watching the horizon stretch endlessly ahead. Guests often linger here for hours, spotting seabirds, watching waves roll in, or simply enjoying the rare luxury of slowing down.

Direct beach access leads to seven miles of wide, uncrowded coastline - perfect for long walks, kite flying, sandcastles, and peaceful moments by the water. Hop on the cruiser bikes to explore Rockaway Beach’s laid-back town center, or enjoy nearby adventures like crabbing and fishing, paddling on Lake Lytle just one street over, hiking Neahkahnie Mountain, and scenic drives along Highway 101.

Rockaway Beach shines year-round with beloved local events and seasonal charm. Visit during the Kite Festival when the shoreline fills with color, celebrate the Old-Fashioned 4th of July with fireworks and parades, or savor the quieter beauty of fall and winter - ideal for cozy stays and storm watching. The Salty Shore offers the perfect balance: close to it all, yet tucked into a peaceful beachfront setting.

Evenings bring everyone together. Fire up the BBQ, gather around the dining table, or wind down with games and movies downstairs. As the sun sets, the firepit becomes the heart of the night - perfect for s’mores, stories, and listening to the waves just beyond the deck.

In cooler months, storm watching becomes even cozier with electric fireplaces in both living rooms. Ideal for warming up after beach walks while the waves crash outside.

The layout is designed for comfort and flexibility. The open upper level features a full kitchen, dining area, and living room, all with sweeping ocean views. Downstairs, the second living area is a favorite hangout for movie nights, rainy afternoons, or catching a game - featuring a large TV, generous seating, and easy access to snacks and drinks from the kitchenette. Ideal for kids, teens, or relaxed movie nights. Three bedrooms (king, queen, and a bunk room sleeping five) and two full bathrooms make group stays easy, and the home is dog friendly, so your four-legged family member can enjoy the coast too.

From sunrise coffee on the deck to falling asleep to the sound of the waves, The Salty Shore is the kind of oceanfront Rockaway Beach vacation home guests return to year after year and where first visits become lasting traditions.
